Refractory and lining technology

As the lining materials for the industrial furnaces, refractory materials are responsible for the safety production and normal operation, as well as the energy conservation and emission reduction for industrial furnace working at elevated temperature. The main research fields of our team refer to the control of microstructureforrefractories, the characterization of the thermal-mechanical-chemical properties, the design and optimization of refractory lining structure, the structural thermo-mechanical numerical modeling for refractories. Up to now, Our team has hosted or participated more than 80 national, provincial and enterprise projects. More than 300 academic papers have been published in professional and authoritative journals at home or abroad, wherein approximately 180 papers were included in SCI, EI and ISTP. Besides, over 140 invention patents have been granted by authorized state. In addition, 10 scientific and technical awards above provincial level were received, including 3 national scientific and technical awards.
