The development of high-temperature industry has made refractory materials more demanding, and the microstructure design and regulation have become increasingly complex. The project team innovatively proposed step-by-step control technology, in-situ control technology and thermal insulation control technology for microstructure of refractory and applied this technology to develop low thermal conductivity microporous mullite materials, periclase-spinel porous materials. It reduces the energy consumption in the production of insulation materials, greatly reduces the thermal conductivity of the material and improves the thermal efficiency of the furnace. Its performance has reached the advanced level of similar materials of international companies.
