The 14th National Engineering Ceramic Academic Conference

From April 21st to 23rd, 2019, Prof. Li Yawei, Zhang Haijun, Liu Jianghao, and graduate students of our school participated in the 14th National Engineering Ceramic Academic Conference and Advanced Ceramic International Forum, which was sponsored by the Material Branch of the China Institute of Mechanical Engineering and organized by the Chongqing Institute of Science and Technology. The conference aimd to deepen the exchange of the latest research progress and technological development results in advanced ceramics and related fields in China, strengthen close cooperation between production, learning and research, and promote theoretical research, technological innovation and transformation of results in advanced ceramics and related fields.

The conference invited Academician Zhang Lianmeng from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor David Hui of New Orleans University, Professor Kazuya Terabe of the National Institute of Materials Science of Japan(Kazuya) and Professor Jia Dechang of Harbin Institute of Technology to make the keynote report of the conference. Professor Li Yawei and Zhang Haijun of our school respectively made the invited presentations of "The formation mechanism and inhibitory measures of hexavalent chromium in Al2O3-CaO-Cr2O3 system" and "The Preparation of molite, magnesium mluminum spinel, diatomite porous ceramic and its thermal and oil water separation properties" . In addition, Dr. Liu Jun, Liu Gengfu, Xu Tengteng, and master students Zhang Jun, Li Junyi, and Zhang Gen of our school made reports of their own research work. Dr. Liu Gengfu Zhang Jun and Li Jun obtained the Outstanding Graduate Report Award of this conference.
