Integrated Design and Preparation of Low Thermal Conductivity and High Temperature Lining Materials

According to the temperature gradient distribution and high temperature characteristics of each layer of the lining material, a technical route for low-conductivity and high-strength insulation material, lightweight heavy materials for insulation and working layers and furnace material with integral thermal insulation properties was proposed. The design for microstructures of low thermal conductivity materials was conducted, especially the pore structure design. Pole forming technology for different pore structure parameters was developed. Micro-nano insulation composite material for different temperature zones, high strength modified vermiculite composite insulation material, microporous high strength and low thermal conductivity lightweight material and composite low thermal conductivity corundum-spinel material were prepared. Considering the safety and the economic thickness of the lining, the multi-layer composite lining material is optimized and designed to achieve large-scale production and industrial application, ensuring efficient insulation, safe and stable operation of the industrial furnace.
